Druid Hills, Candler Park, Lake Claire

The Druid Hills neighborhood with its 4000 homes, many of which are stately and historic, is anchored by miles of Olmstead Linear Parks and surrounded by mature tree canopy. Home to Druid Hills Country Club, the Fernbank Museum, and the neighboring Emory Village with its many restaurants and coffee shops. Served partly by City of Atlanta Schools (Springdale Park Elementary, Inman Middle, and Grady HS) and Dekalb County Schools (Fernbank Elementary, Druid Hills Middle and HS) and Paideia private school.
 
Candler Park is a charming neighborhood of largely older front-porch bungalows and newer larger craftsman style homes with access to the walking and biking paths of Freedom Park, and its own namesake 55 acre park. Its business district on McLendon has popular restaurants and the beloved Candler Park Market. Highly rated City of Atlanta schools – Mary Lin Elementary, Inman Middle, and Grady High School.
 
Lake Claire is a wonderful neighborhood nestled between Candler Park and the City of Decatur with about 1200 homes, largely bungalows and craftsman styled homes, but also a range of architectural styles. It has its own strip of businesses at Clifton and McLendon, Lake Claire Pool for members, and Lake Claire city park.Schools are City of Atlanta’s Mary Lin, Inman Middle, and Grady HS.
